The concept of a wildflower meadow guided the landscape design in the backyard.  Retaining walls create terraces and a stepping stone pathway traverses through the gardens inviting one to meander through the flowers.   This project is a gardener’s paradise.  Flowers of every color explode into bloom throughout the growing season.  In the front yard, Dwarf Maples planted in the courtyard, Pyracantha espaliered up courtyard walls, Honey Locusts planted along the driveway, Blue Mist Spirea planted in a driveway island, a Washington Hawthorn and Spring Snow Crabapples along with Peonies and Annabelle Hydrangeas create a lush aesthetic and soften the architecture of this house.
