This project illustrates the joys of outdoor living. Swimming, cooking, dining, lounging, entertaining, and playing are possible in this back yard. A roof with a fan, heaters, and lights was added to cover the patio and outdoor kitchen making the space enjoyable throughout the year. A pool was integrated into the backyard with retaining walls to push back the grade and is a focal point from within the house. The pool patio has a fire‐pit inviting friends and family to gather around. The lawn pushes against the pool on one side and a planting bed pushes into the patio on the other side, surrounding the expansive pool patio with plants and greenery.
